Privacy notice
Effective 30 October 2026. CoinScope is the seller and data controller for personal information processed to operate this service. Paddle separately handles purchase and payment data as Merchant of Record under its own privacy notice.
Information we collect and why
- Account and sign-in information, including email, identifiers and authentication information: to create accounts, authenticate access and secure private data (contract performance and legitimate security interests).
- Portfolio holdings, simulated trades and exits, scam reports, original inputs, questions and AI answers: to provide the tools you request and reopen your saved history (contract performance).
- Subscription identifiers, plan, status, billing-period dates and alerts: to verify paid access and provide subscription management (contract performance and legal obligations).
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, device/browser information, requests, errors and security logs: to operate, diagnose and protect the service (legitimate interests).
- Optional market-data credentials: to use your chosen market-data access and let you replace or revoke it (contract performance).
- Support communications you provide: to respond to requests and resolve problems (contract performance or legitimate interests).
Sharing and AI processing
We share information as needed with service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, AI processing, diagnostics and support. Prompts and relevant context may be processed by AI service providers to generate requested answers; avoid including unnecessary personal information. We share account and subscription information with Paddle for product sales, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. Paddle collects payment details directly; CoinScope does not store full card numbers. Information may also be shared with professional legal/accounting advisers and authorities where required by law.
Private data and security
Saved scam reports and conversations are private to their signed-in owner. We use account-scoped access controls and appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections, to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Practice records are simulated and are not real exchange orders.
Retention
Account and saved tool information is retained while needed to provide your account and requested history. You can delete saved scam reports and revoke optional market-data credentials in the app. When information is no longer needed for service, security, disputes or legal obligations, it is deleted or anonymised. Billing records may be retained for applicable tax and accounting requirements. Retention depends on the information and applicable obligations.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. You may complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact CoinScope using the seller contact details associated with your purchase for requests not available in the app; we may need to verify your identity. Mandatory rights and applicable response deadlines remain unaffected.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential authentication cookies and browser storage keep you signed in and support secure sessions. Blocking these in your browser can prevent sign-in. Private report content is not persisted in browser storage. This notice does not authorize optional advertising or marketing cookies; if optional tracking is introduced, choices and consent will be offered where required. You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings.
International processing
Hosting and other service providers may process information outside your country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, appropriate contractual protections or recognised transfer mechanisms must apply.
